Wellington Regional Account Manager

Reporting to the Southern Regional Manager this newly created role will be based at our Wellington plant and will be responsible for the long-term sales and new business development across the region.  The emphasis will be on sales growth, business development and customer satisfaction while maintaining a dominant market position.  We are seeking an experienced sales professional who is comfortable operating in a role with a mixture of both new business development and account management.

New Business Development:  We are looking for a “Hunter,” that person who will actively seek new opportunities to grow our customer base.

Sales/Account Management:  Equally important is the ability to build long-term relationships with our existing customers, and with the ability to collaborate with our existing team.

Background and experience required:

  • Concrete, Aggregates or Construction industry experience is preferable.
  • An understanding of pricing within these markets.
  • A history of growing business through maximising customer spends and share of wallet growth, targeted new business development, offering product solutions to suit customer needs, and planning and managing sales plans and strategies.
  • A commercial understanding is required, ideally with knowledge and contacts within these markets.
  • An unwavering commitment and attitude towards Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
