The Opportunity:
Lead the successful delivery of projects across HFHL’s Concrete, Aggregates, and Property businesses. This is a wide-ranging role spanning project pricing, logistics and plant planning, and property project management (new builds, alterations, and maintenance) from a client/principal perspective. You’ll operate with full autonomy, reporting to the General Manager, with a dotted line to Business Managers.
What you’ll do:
Price projects for concrete and aggregates to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
Plan logistics and plant utilisation to deliver projects on time, to budget, and to specification.
Manage property projects (new builds, alterations, maintenance) end-to-end from the client/principal viewpoint.
Drive continuous improvement, quality, and compliance across operations.
Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
Proven project management experience in building, construction or civil contracting.
Commercial acumen with strong financial management skills.
Advanced computer skills and confidence with digital tools.
Demonstrated planning and delivery capability for complex projects.
Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices.
Relevant technical/management qualification (or equivalent experience) and Class 1 licence.
Salary & benefits:
Base Salary $100,000 - $120,000 pa

Palmerston North based with some travel required.
